Ms. Steele began her studies at Chippewa Valley Technical College, getting her Associate's Degree in Nursing where she graduated with honors. She continued her education at the Chamberlain College of Nursing, earning her Bachelor's Degree and then moving to the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire where she attained her Doctorate of Nursing Practice.
Ms. Steele began her career as a Registered Nurse in 2005 and has worked with behavioral health, neuroscience, medical, post-surgical, pediatric, and geriatric patients during her career. In addition to her work in direct patient care, Ms. Steele’s interest and passion for nursing practice and patient care led her to various patient improvement projects, committees, and the role of nurse leader in a hospital inpatient setting. Her practice will focus on collaborative care for patients in nursing home and assisted living settings.
Nursing practice and caring for people, especially older adults, has been a passion of mine throughout my career in healthcare. I am so excited and honored to work with our older adult patients to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
