Teri Gjerseth started her education at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Superior, WI where she completed her foundation/Associate Degree in Nursing. She then working professionally as a Registered Nurse and doula for several years. Ms. Gjerseth went on to study at the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing where she earned her Bachelor Degree in Nursing, a Masters Degree as Certified Nurse Midwife as well as a post-masters certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner.
Ms. Gjerseth states "It is my goal to provide care for women, that fits their personal choice. Birth is a very personal event, that I am honored women choose to share with me. When it comes to birth, my role is to know what the current recommendations are, but it is the woman's job to decide what is right for her and her family. Pregnancy and birth are normal events of life. It is enjoyable to help families to locate the tools and education they need to make an informed choice for their health care and birth. "
