Dr. Jason Bydash began his education at John Carroll University in University Heights, OH where he studied Biology and Chemistry. After graduating in 2001, he transferred to Michigan State University of Osteopathic Medicine to pursue his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006. Dr. Bydash then completed his Residency (2006–2009) as well as served as Chief Resident (2009–2010) in Internal Medicine at Saint Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, OH. Moving to Minnesota, Dr. Bydash completed a Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Bydash is Board Certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine, is a member of several professional societies and has earned several honors and awards.
His practice is patient centered and focuses on the whole person. Dr. Bydash feels it's a patient's right to engage, question and actively participate in all aspects of their medical care—especially medical decision making. Kidney disease affects and is affected by more than just the physical dimension of one's being—understanding and addressing mental health and social wellness are crucial to successful treatment.
In his spare time, Jason enjoys teaching medical students, residents and fellows as well as reading, amateur radio and spending time with his family.
