Dr. Brown has dedicated his entire 25-year professional career serving patients, from headquarters in Chippewa Falls and offices in Stanley and Ladysmith. During that time he and his wife have raised their 4 children here in Chippewa Falls. An outdoor enthusiast and runner who has completed 2 Boston Marathons, Dr. Brown emphasizes eye health: “I tell patients to eat spinach, which is high in lutein and good for the eyes.”
A Wisconsin native, Dr. Brown returned to his home state after his ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, the oldest eye hospital in the country. He completed medical school at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and an internship at St. Joseph’s hospital in Milwaukee, and is a graduate of Brown University and Madison West High School.
Dr. Brown is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmalogy, and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmalogy (AAO), Wisconsin Academy of Ophthalmalogy, American Medical Association (AMA), Wisconsin State Medical Society and Chippewa County Medical Society. His hobbies include outdoor nature photography and playing piano, and he has even played clarinet for high school musicals in Chippewa Falls.
