Being sick, worried, or uncomfortable can make it hard to eat properly, especially when having surgery. All meals at OakLeaf are individually prepared with the patient°s appetite, dietary needs and special requirements taken into consideration. A tasty meal, ordered by the patient and served at the time they request is just one more benefit when you choose OakLeaf Surgical Hospital. Patients select from a Room Service menu that offers an array of entrees along with fresh fruits, vegetables, salads and bakery. Offering an appetizing selection encourages the patient to eat, important for a successful recovery.
At OakLeaf Surgical Hospital the patient decides when and what they would like to eat.
Friends and family may order from the menu as well and eat with the patient, or step down the hall to the Bistro for a break.
Patient Menu Options:
Room Service meals are available from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 pm.
Breakfast - 7:00 am - 10:00 am.
Choices include: fruit, eggs, hash browns, sausage links or crispy bacon,
pancakes, omelets, French toast, or assorted hot or cold cereals.
Lunch- 10:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Choices include: Chicken sandwiches, triple decker club, crab melt,
BLT, or charbroiled 1/4 lb ground sirloin burger available with
a choice of toppings. Lighter accompaniments include soup of the day,
and a variety of salads: coleslaw, Chef, garden, or chicken pasta.
Dinner - 4:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Choices include: cashew chicken, cod, salmon, sirloin steak, and breaded
pork chops. All entrees include a side salad and choice of potato and
vegetable.

The Bistro
With its small sidewalk café appeal, the Bistro provides OakLeaf
Surgical Hospital visitors with a place to sit, collect one’s
thoughts or to take a break. Complimentary coffee, tea and snacks are
available for family members. Family may order Room Service meals to
be served in the Bistro area.
The Bistro and kitchen is open from 7a.m to 7 p.m.
