HEALTH AND WELLNESS EDUCATION

OakLeaf Medical Network, in cooperation with member clinics and physicians, sponsors Coffee Talk, informal educational programs to address today's health and wellness issues and to provide the public with information needed to make today's healthcare decisions. Check back at this site for upcoming Spring programs. OakLeaf Medical Network physicians are also available as resources for employers, community groups and institutions interested in specific health issues or lifestyle topics.

HEALTHY VIEWPOINTS

OakLeaf Medical Network is committed to health education for the public. Healthy Viewpoints is published two times a year and distributed free to the public within the OakLeaf Medical Network service area and at participating clinics. Consisting of articles submitted by OakLeaf physicians and health professionals, Health Viewpoints introduces new procedures, important medical guidelines, and timely health topics. You can read the most recent edition online, as well as reference the Healthy Viewpoints archives.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT

OakLeaf Medical Network members live in the communities in which they work. They understand the value of investing time and resources back into a community. Individual physicians and medical staff are actively involved in supporting health, civic and family organizations in their local neighborhoods and encourage volunteer participation by their staff. OakLeaf has been a strong contributor to area chambers of commerce, economic development, health education, cultural and children's programs.

In 2004, OakLeaf recognized an opportunity to help make the Children's Museum of Eau Claire a reality. Through OakLeaf's generous support, the OakLeaf Toddler Park area provides physically and mentally challenging activities for young children.
